We believe in giving back to the communities where we develop, build and earn our livelihood.

Through the McDonald Foundation Charitable Trust, our philanthropic efforts have included funding in South Carolina, for education and critical needs for children, including substantial gifts to McLeod Children's Hospital for funding of its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and special projects. Additionally, our affiliated European Trust, the DMC Foundation of Lichtenstein, funded the building of the Dr. Daniel M. McDonald School of Archaeology at Cambridge University. Numerous other qualifying charities, including the MUSC Children's Hospital, Children in Crisis and others in the Charleston region have been supported through corporate and related trust philanthropy.
