Sintra Homes Honored for Excellence in Home Building at 2009 Prism Awards

Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, September 30, 2009 – Sintra Homes, a subsidiary of The SIM Group and home builder in Hamlin Plantation, Brickyard Plantation and Daniel’s Orchard, is the proud recipient of three 2009 Prism Awards for “Best Product – Housing”.

The Prism Awards are presented by The Charleston Trident Home Builder’s Association.  “Best Product – Housing” judging was based on exterior and interior design, functionality of floor plan, curb appeal, use of interior space, special design features and construction techniques and/or materials.

Two of the three awards went to home plans built in Daniel’s Orchard at Historic Summerville; “The Filbin”, presently located at 617 North Hickory Street and “The Azalea”, located at 619 North Hickory Street. The third award went to the “Horecky Family Residence”, a custom-built home in Beresford Hall on Daniel Island.
